Cook - Per Diem

Lead the team effort of providing dietary support for the organization and those under its specialized care. The cook processes and produces café, patient and catered meals under supervision of the Executive Chef. Assures that all meals are attractively presented and appealing to customer, producing a positive departmental and hospital reputation. Labels and stores food correctly to avoid waste and spoilage. Cleans and clears area after food preparation and cooking process to provide the most sanitary working conditions.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Must hold a currently dated Food Handler's Card A.O.S in the Culinary Arts or Pro Chef certification from the American Culinary Federation or graduation from an accredited Culinary School
Required 2-4 years previous experience in well respected establishment required
Per Diem - A Per Diem position at CTCA is a position that is called in to work on an “as needed” basis to cover scheduled and un-planned time-off, medical leaves or patient increase levels.
