The Director of Application Development’s role manages the custom development activities of CTCA. Reporting to the AVP of Consumer Applications, the roles primary objectives are to help formulate CTCAs application development strategies and manage the developer resources responsible for CTCA’s websites, mobility solutions, and custom developed business tools. The Director of Application Development provides direct supervisory leadership to application development technology team including responsibilities to maintain, support and oversee Web and Mobile Systems and metrics. The Director of Application Development will work closely with corporate and site product owners to meet both the tactical and strategic goals of the enterprise. The Director will be responsible for staying abreast of relevant technologies through market research and be responsible for assessing emerging technologies for applicability in the CTCA environment. This role is also responsible for driving product innovation and efficiency through effectively understanding operation needs and future strategy.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Broad based technical background, with specific technical depth in at least one distributed development platform, 10+ year’s experience with .Net platforms being preferred, experience in mobile development a plus.
  • At least 3+ year’s experience as a people leader.
