The Director of IT Site Services leads hospital and corporate teams responsible for local technology support at CTCA facilities. This position oversees core customer service and business relationship management functions including service desk, end user computing, incident management, communications, business analysis, and coordination of hospital Stakeholder needs. He or she will partner across the IT and business leadership team to achieve organizational goals through exceptional technology service delivery.
The Director of IT Site Services will provide leadership, coaching, and coordination for managers at each facility, promoting consistent practices for resiliency and growth. He/she will ensure a high level of Stakeholder performance combined with professional development planning and alignment of work across facilities.
The position will require occasional travel to CTCA facilities.
Essential Job Responsibilities
25% Oversees the definition and deployment of the IT service management catalog and processes to enable business excellence via high quality customer service.
25% Directs local teams supporting the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s application and infrastructure environments.
25% Oversee and prioritize general business administration for IT Site Services - including operating performance, budget management, and customer satisfaction.
25% Recruits, manages and develops a leadership team to ensure success in all aspects of responsibility.
Skills, Education, and Additional Information
- Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science, information systems, business or related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience as a manager, director or above is required.
- Ability to analyze new technologies and run competitive analyses, including the analysis of purchased systems, hardware and software, or the internal design and development of hardware and software systems.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, process improvement, workflow modeling, project management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships and compromise, persuade and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple objectives under tight deadlines and ability to work independently with little to no oversight.
