The Lead Analyst, Digital Marketing & Analytics will be responsible for creating business requirements for data tools and implementation, building and maintaining reports and dashboards to support the digital marketing effort, own reporting for the team’s a/b testing strategy, and recommending tests and tactics to improve overall site KPIs based on data insights. This individual will support key stakeholders on the product, audience development and content teams with reporting and data analysis and develop new initiatives to increase site conversion rates and improve site engagement.
Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting to support digital marketing initiatives, sales team needs, and a/b testing performance - 50%
- Develop overall business requirements for data and reporting tool set including full-cycle funnel tracking - 15%
- Develop and work with product, technology, and design teams to implement tactics to improve overall site conversion rate - 25%
- Assist with other digital marketing efforts as required including PPC management, SEO, etc. - 10%
Skills, Education, and Additional Information
This role will be a key collaborator across multiple teams including design, sales, technology, and product and therefore should be able to understand the individual needs of each of those organizations and build the right data insights to support those needs.
This role requires 8-10 years of experience with web analytics platforms, a/b testing software, and data reporting tools (excel, tableau, etc). This individual should also have basic working experience with SQL for ad hoc reporting as needed. This individual should demonstrate a track record of digital marketing success and conversion rate optimization.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a major in engineering, finance, analytics, marketing, or business. An MBA is preferred.
This role will report to the SVP, Editorial & Audience Development with no direct reports.
